Material: Silk

This is part of a gorgeous obi adorned with all the typical auspicious Japanese patterns.

It is woven with a variety of motifs, including pine trees, bamboos, plums, cranes, phoenixes, tortoiseshell patterns, and treasures.

This luxurious obi, called a "maru obi," features a full pattern on both sides, a style that is rarely made these days, and is likely to have been used as a bridal gown.

Size: 25×68cm
