This kimono is called Michiyuki and is an item worn over the kimono. 
 
This fabric is very soft and feels good to the touch. This pattern is drawn on embroidered fabric, which was very unusual for Michiyuki materials at the time and gives a sense of delicacy. Since the colours are muted, it can be matched with any colour of kimono or clothes.
 
It's a soft and moist kimono, but you can also protect yourself from the cold by just putting it on. The front part can be fastened with a hook, but you can also enjoy it with it  open.
