Material: Silk

Flowers such as chrysanthemums, plums, cherry blossoms, and peonies are commonly used in kimono and obi designs, but this piece is believed to feature omodaka, a type of aquatic plant.

The omodaka motif, dating back to the Heian period over 1,200 years ago, was historically used in the crests of samurai families.

The design's refined and refreshing aesthetic is achieved by combining silver threads with a pale blue background in similar tones.

This item includes a stick and string for display.

Size: 105×30.5cm (not including fringes)
