扇面にはさまざまな意匠が織り込まれ、日本らしい華やかさを感じさせます。
もともとは両面に全面柄を施した大変贅沢な「丸帯」で、現代ではほとんど作られない希少な仕様です。
金糸で多くの扇が織り込まれており、祝いの席で既婚女性が身にまとっていたと考えられます。

Originally part of a luxurious Maru obi with full patterns on both sides, this rare style is seldom produced today.
The gold-thread fans suggest it was once worn by married women on celebratory occasions.
