This obi depicts Mount Fuji standing solemnly among clouds, paired with a fantastical image of its inverted reflection (sakasafuji) in a lake, rendered in shades of purple.

Although the design is unique, this obi was not used in highly formal settings but was instead paired with casual kimonos such as komon and tsumugi.
