一粒一粒を職人が糸で括り、染色後にほどくことで生まれる非常に手間のかかる技法で、特に全体に施された総絞りは大変希少です。
膨大な時間と生地を必要とするため、現代ではますます入手が難しくなっています。

A semi-formal houmongi featuring the traditional Japanese dyeing technique shibori.
Each dot is individually tied by hand before dyeing, then carefully untied to reveal the pattern.
This rare soushibori style, applied across the entire garment, is highly time-intensive and increasingly difficult to obtain today.
